RAPPORTO/ SIDE 3 Bar

What would be of a trip to Nagoya if it didn't include a glorious Gundam Bar?!
Last time me and Teap ventured the Nagoya Station area to reach this tiny yet welcoming gunota spot, located at the seventh floor of what it looked like quite the otaku building!

As usual, these kind of places are decorated with action figures, gadgets and other Gundam memorabilia:

Sometimes I just have the impressions that these guys open this kind of places just because they need to show off their collections...

But let's go with the pictures of the drinks!
The list of the snacks was not impressive, it was just chips and peanuts, but the list of cocktails was quite awesome!!
It performed drinks dedicated to all the series and most of characters, me and Teap had lots of fun picking them out!
On top of it, every served drink came with a fun little scene acted by the barman, mimicking the famous quotes the drink was inspired by!

Another fun fact was that the ingredients of the cocktails were a secret! One had to pick using their "Newtype senses"! Apparently mine worked quite well, 'cause the stuff that I picked was plain delicious :D (even if, even now, I have no idea of what I drank, ahah!)

For first drinks, me and Teap picked respectively "The Undefeated of the East" (G Gundam) and "Orphans' Tears" (Iron-blooded Orphans):
Teap, who wasn't such a strong Newtype as me, complained that her drink was kinda bitter-- Of course, you're drinking the tears of the orphans, I said!

Next was my "Bloody Valentine" (Gundam SEED):
We were expecting something red coloured, instead it was chocolate-based! Yummy!

Teap had "GN Particles" (Gundam OO):
It looked very pretty but again, far from Teap's tastes: it was Lamune-based, she said.

My last super-alcoholic pick, "The Nightmare of Solomon" (Gundam 0083):
It was delicious! There was licorice liquor inside :D
All my drinks looked so adult-like, LOL...

And for her last drink, Teap let me pick it up: I went with "Operation Meteor" (Gundam Wing), of course!
It was a delicious shortie!
Again, my Newtype abilities were just top-notch!

The place was lot of fun and the barman quite entertaining, he also let us pick the screened anime of the time... I went with Gundam Unicorn since Teap didn't watch that yet.

On a parting note, a doubt about the entrance fee.
Apparently there wasn't none, but once we got our bill I realized an overprice of 2000 yen, compared to our orders... At the time of paying we didn't notice but later on it started to bother me. Was that the entrance fee? The service? A mistake? Anyway, in case you got there, make sure to ask about it in advance!
Also, go there if you can speak Japanese or you have a friend who can translate, or you'll miss half the fun!
