Sasuke Uchiha, the boy who set "revenge" as his raison d'ętre. He erased anything that could pose an obstacle to his goal and sternly rejected warmth and peace to pursue greater power. It was a rough and gloomy path that meant crawling through the earth like a snake — as he also labeled himself —, prowling after his prey in the darkness. When Sasuke fulfilled his long-cherished ambition, revenge, a new world called "truth" opened his doors to him and the chains that bound his heart to the ground finally came off. Now the young falcon soars through the sky, majestic, surveying the landscape spreading out below him with the heavenly eyes bestowed upon him by the "strongest clan", finally able to decide his next route of his own free will! Ah, Sasuke. You love him to death or you just can't stand him.
He started to grow on me right after the timeskip, at first he was a regular pouty kid who tried to look badass but later... Well, he still tris to look badass but all in all he really isn't.
It must be difficult to merge so many qualities (cool, smart, intelligent, cunning, beautiful∼) in a character without make him dislikeable... I understand why certain people can't stand him because of this...

I can't really believe that people are complaining about him being a good boy.
I mean, I ADORED him when he was a villain. So strong, awesome, beautiful and lethal in every movement.
Then, the truth. I was AMAZED.
Itachi turned even more badass than when he was portrayed as a random cool bad guy.

Madara, or one of the founder of Konoha and one of the most prominent leaders of Uchiha Clan decades before the beginning of our story.
As an old-school shinobi Madara looks fierce, ambitious an devoted to his clan and honor to the unimaginable extend of allowing his beloved little brother to sacrify himself to let him aquire even more power.
I can understand Madara's grudge towards Konoha and his clan: Konoha trapped his clan in a stagnant situation and his clan accepted this destiny, reducing itself in a sort of Konoha's "guardian dogs"... To someone like Madara such attitudes would have look unbearable and when his own clanmen started to desert him, leaving the village and turning into the first example of a "traitor ninja" was the only possible choice.
I loved his elationship with Itachi, how much he respected him yet was completely bothered by him...
People keep complaining about how evil and undependable he is... I personally find the sides of his character extremely interesting, mysterious... I'm really touched by how lonely and sad he looks.

A responsible leader who decided to change the destiny of his clan, a loving father who had to hide the deep feelings for his beloved sons... I can't understand why he doesn't have more supporters...

In a strict household centered around Fugaku, Mikoto has always warmly watched over her family. Her kind gaze bather her husband and two children equally, and was a source of tranquillity and love for them. Not as an Uchiha, but as a single mother, she wished for happiness for the family that was her pride and joy.[2]
I'm really intrigued by Mikoto and her whereabouts.
Everyone knows and likes her because of her role as Itachi and Sasuke's reassuringly mum, but I'm realy curious about her career as a ninja: it's given that she's a jounin and she offered to train Sasuke in Fugaku's place.
The balance between sweetness and ferocity, as in every Uchiha, must have been amazing...

"Uchiha". That name was held with pride by the boy. Obito, living as a shinobi, relies on that as his "strength". And at the same time, that name was a great
burden. A common person. Even though his rival Kakashi became a jounin, he looks
at himself as worthless. Weak, deplorable, unreliable... Obito's chilhood was a
fight with himself.[2]
Obito is one of the cutest characters, so different from the "standard Uchiha", under certain aspects extremely similar to Naruto.
He appeared in the "Kakashi Gaiden" manga's episode only, to explain how Kakashi got his sharingan, and it's a touching story indeed...

Izuna was Madara's little brother and very little is known about him, but his extreme closeness to his older brother and that they were both equal in strenght and skills.
They both killed their best friend(s?) to gain Magenkyou Sharingan and Izuna always followed Madara's side in leading the clan together.
In the Characters Databook #3 is indicated that he didn't die by Madara's hands but on the battlefield against Senju clan.
I like to think of Izuna as an Itachi type... Someone who held his brother's sake as the most precious thing, worth his very own existence...

We know NOTHING about Shisui, but his name and his importance for Itachi.
Nicknamed "Shisui of the body flicker" because of his speed and considered one of the most powerful and dutiful ninjas in Konoha, his example was looked up by Itachi who considered him a sort of big brother.
Konoha's police officers questioned Itachi's about his whereabouts during the night Shisui died by drowning himself in the Nagano river, suspecting him as the culprit of the crime, turning Itachi into a real fury.
I honestly believe that Itachi didn't kill Shisui himself; he looked genuinely surprised by his death and somehow alerted by his message...

Since they're minor supporting characters, not much is known about the Konoha Military Police officers that questioned Itachi about Shisui's death.
Tekka is described as a member of the Konoha Military Police Force, he was reserved and did not speak much. However, his strong inner passion for his clan was no different to the other members of the force.[2]
Inabi viewed Itachi as an enemy since he entered the Special Assassination Squad and began acting suspiciously[2] and Yashiro, with his accurate analytical skills and his sure leadership which brought the other members together, he was even superior to Fugaku.[2]

Yashiro was a special merchant in the Uchiha clan who ran the Uchiha rice cracker [senbei] store. He faithfully protected the secret flavouring passed down through generations since the founding of the village.[2]
His wife Uruchi baked each and every rice cracker with care, and the strong flavour was very popular even with kids.[2]
They are commonly mistaken for Itachi and Sasuke's uncle and aunt due to a misinterpretation of the terms "ojisan" and "obasan" that are commonly used also to refer to old people familiarly.
